Last night i spoke of the attacks against the Holy Father and asked that you all pray for his protection.  I mentioned that the KofC.org website had the prayer cards.  I also wish to tell you that this site also has several stories about the crisis and by reading them you can get the facts for yourself without relying on the mainstream press.

There is an article by the Supreme Chaplain Bishop William E Lori which discusses elements of the case behind the scenes and calls into question the reporting of the NY Times and how it may have been used by an attorney engaged in a law suit against the Vatican.

Another story "Setting the Record Straight" by Father Brundage (he was the presiding judge in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee at the time of the scandal) brings to the forefront the facts that he was never contacted by anyone who was wrting the story for the Times.

Finally, an article by Cardinal Levada entitled "The NY Times and the Pope" explores other otherwise unknown facets of the case.

I urge you to read the articles in addition to praying for the Holy Father so that should you be confronted by someone you have the ammuntion with which to fight for your faith and against those who would tear it down.
