Here's something we bet you didn't know . . .

There are 300,000 Catholics serving in our U.S. military and there are only 281 Catholic Chaplains there to serve them. They need our help.

This means Catholic soldiers can go 7 to 9 months without participating in Mass or hearing words of encouragement from a chaplain.  Think about it . . . how lonely would you be deprived of Mass or the Eucharist from now until December?

Knights of Council 9923 ared doing something about this your help is needed.

Their FRONTLINE FAITH™ Project delivers MP3 players preloaded with spiritual content to armed forces currently deployed or returning from deployment. These players provide almost 7 hours of spiritual content, including an audio rendition of the Mass; various homilies; prayers just for those serving, a recitation of the Warrior Rosary; Christian music; prayers from children; and testimonies from soldiers in their own words about their own struggles and victories in their faith journeys.

$15 dollars puts a player in the hand of a Catholic soldier.  There is a special collection station at each fish fry and we're working on a 2nd collection.  In the mean time please encourage everyone you know to help us reinforce the Frontline with the faith of our fathers and our families.
